The case study concerning the OEM segment relates to an engine manufacturer, and its procurement strategy to establish a worldwide network of Global Purchasing Offices including the one in China that is operated by Shentou Investment Ltd.

The other case study relates to the After-Market business and its traders and distributors. One of the biggest and fastest growing distributing companies for the European market is the AM Company. As many distributors in this business, the AM Company was looking for new sourcing opportunities to generate greater procurement savings and was heading towards China. With the services of Shentou, the AM Company is directly approaching the Chinese suppliers and enables them to directly integrate sourcing from China into the AM Company’s supply chain.
